Does the studio accept walk-ins?

Yes, we take walk-ins Tuesday through Thursdays and Saturdays from noon to 9pm; first come, first served to our walk-in artists available.

What is the shop minimum?

Opening fee begins at 120 by client's request. Minimum varies based on size, detail, and artist. Artists rates may vary based on experience, style, and any promotions, or events being offered.

What should I do prior to my appointment?

Make sure to rest well the day before the appointment. Yes, tattoos are exciting but a full night’s rest will help you for a long day of work. Have a full breakfast to give you enough energy especially if this is your first tattoo.

What should I be prepared for?

Tattoos can be painful depending on the area and the longevity of your session. It is advised to bring food or anything that will give you energy to last your day.

How much is a sleeve/back piece/chest piece?

Large-scale pieces are not always set by price as all work varies based on size and detail. Some styles can be more detailed and certain designs require more time than others. Work is priced by your artist based on the quantity of work or some by hour to ensure fairness between the client and artist.

Can I go on vacation?

It is not advised to go to tropical areas or go swimming/tanning. Tattoos are sensitive to sunlight, water, and extreme sweating whilst in the healing process. Under all these circumstances, you run the risk of the tattoo lightening, infection, or potential of improper healing.

How long do tattoos take to heal?

Every person heals differently and on different times. Most typically tattoos can heal anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks. Sometimes earlier and sometimes later depending on your immune system. Some people begin to scab 2–3 days after the tattoo session. Some don’t scab at all. Healed tattoos are typically 1–2 shades lighter and are more matte in complexion to the skin. An aftercare sheet can be provided once your session is complete.

What shouldn't I do before/after a tattoo?

Please do not drink prior to your tattoo session and be mindful of any blood-thinning medications as they will affect the procedure and can cause inflammation of the skin while tattooing. This can cause the tattooing portion to feel more sensitive/painful for the client. It is highly discouraged as we would want you to be as comfortable as possible during your session. After your tattoo sitting, please refrain from high-level activity to prevent irritation and sweat. Please keep away dirt and debris away from the fresh tattoo to prevent infection.

What should I expect during the healing stage?

There are several different reactions to the healing based on each individual’s skin type. Some people scab, some experience extreme itchiness, and sometimes have breakouts (small pimples in the tattooed area). All these are considered normal reactions to tattoos following your session. Expect the tattoo to heal more matte in appearance as tattoos are always their darkest the day they are freshly inked.

How do touch-ups work?

Touch-ups are only necessary if your tattoo has been visibly affected in any way that’s altered from its original appearance once healed. Touch-ups should be notified to your artist immediately to ensure they can fix your tattoo as closest to the time it was done. Clients will be given a grace period of two months to notify their artist of the touch-up. If the artist is not notified within this time, the touch-up will require a fee specified and quoted by the artist. Please note; Finger tattoos and areas of the body known to fade will always require a touch-up fee.

What are recommended aftercare products?

Best products for post-tattoo aftercare are hypoallergenic non-scented soaps and lotions. Tattoo-specific creams and soaps are also recommended. Refrain from any scented non-tattoo-specific products as scents can irritate your fresh tattoo.
